Privacy Notice

What we collect

• Your name, mobile number and email address.
• Your delivery address.
• Body measurements — only to prepare and advise on fit.
• Your Facebook or Instagram profile, event details, and how you heard about us.
• A photo of one government ID when you rent a dress (it leaves our hands), to confirm who is renting. At fittings we only look at your ID at the door and hand it back — we don’t copy it.
• Your proof of payment and the name and reference on the transfer.
• The date, time and connection address when you accept the Rental Agreement, as a record of your agreement.
• Your email, if you sign up for news of new arrivals.

Why we use it

• To reserve, deliver, collect and inspect your rental, and to refund your deposit.
• To verify your payment against our accounts.
• To contact you about your booking.
• To send news and offers — only if you ticked the separate box, and you can stop at any time.

Who we share it with

Only what each needs to do their part: the courier who delivers and collects your rental (your name, mobile and address), and the companies that host our website and database (Vercel and Supabase), which store it securely on our behalf. We never sell your data.

If you book with an affiliate’s code or link, that affiliate sees your booking reference, your rental date, the dress and its rental fee, so they can keep track of what they earn. They never see your name, mobile number, email, address, measurements or ID.

How long we keep it

Booking records are kept for our accounts and tax records. Proof-of-payment images are kept only as long as we need them to verify your payment and settle any question about it. Your ID photo is deleted automatically 7 days after your rental ends or is cancelled.

Government-issued ID verification

For security purposes, Elavelle requires a photo of one valid government-issued ID upon rental confirmation to verify the renter’s identity and address potential issues involving unreturned or damaged dresses.

All information is handled securely in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).

• Fitting appointments: IDs are verified in person only. No photos or copies are retained.
• ID deletion: ID photos are securely deleted 7 days after the rental date.
